With end stage cancer (Hodgkin’s Lymphoma), Anita Moorjani fell into a coma on February 2nd, 2006. The doctors explained to her family that her organs were shutting down and she wasn’t going to make it the next 36 hours. While in the coma she had a different experience within than what was being perceived by her family. She reports a feeling of drifting in and out of consciousness, because she was aware of everything going on around her, the conversations her husband had with the doctors were recalled by her in great detail after she came out of the coma. She went through periods of being surrounded by an immense love. While in the coma, she saw a purpose for her life and she knew she had a choice to make: to live or to die. She knew if she chose life she would completely heal quickly as she now understood why she got cancer and the meaning it had in her life. If she chose death, she knew (while unconscious and in a coma) that her organs would in fact fail and she would die of this cancer.

Anita chose life. She recalled the experience to a doctor and since then, her near death experience has gone viral. She lives a purposeful, meaningful life explaining to others that we are surrounded by love that is always there.
In a short video, (link below) Anita shares an example of how the world we see on the outside, is an absolute reflection of who we are on the inside. In other words, we project what’s on the inside to perceive a world on the outside. The example goes like this…She asks her audience to take a moment and look around the room she is speaking in. She asks them to look at all the items that are the color Red. She gives them a few moments to glance around the room at all the different variations of Red objects and colors. She then has them close their eyes and asks them the following question: “How many blue objects did you see?”
None of them saw any blue! They were all fixated and focused on finding Red. In their attempt to look for all the Red objects they didn’t see (in plain view) all the blue objects that surrounded them.
What does this mean for us, from the wisdom of someone that’s had a verifiable Near-Death Experience and a spontaneous recovery from end stage cancer?

You get on the outside what you experience on the inside.
Simple concept, challenging to practice.
If you want more love in your life, focus on perceiving more love in the world. Maybe hold back from things that right now bring you the feeling of an absence of love (the media/news).
If you want more health in your life, focus on how much health you really do have. And choose to see others expressing health and vitality and feel good about it. See yourself as getting incrementally better than you were before.
If you want more wealth in your life, be grateful for what you do have. See abundance in the world. See abundance around you. Share in the feeling of abundance and allow that feeling to grow within as you see yourself again, becoming more abundant over time.
Whatever it is, you’ve got to first choose to be it on the inside. Click here to see Anita’s video.
Enjoy!
