What I learned by hiring an expert
July 6, 2017

I do my best not to stress and worry over trivial matters, but the fact of the matter is that some things just don’t go away. I also do my best not to be stubborn and feel like I must take care of everything that is an issue so I can feel a sense of control and stability and know that it’s going to get done the “right way.”

OH, boy do I still have a lot to learn! Here’s an example of something that in the big scheme of things is quite trivial. It has to do with one of my favorite daily requirements…dealing with the wonders of technology!

Untitled design-2

So, for about a year our internet radio at our chiropractic office was going through periods of the music not playing well, skipping, not starting up, etc. We would get the appropriate phone numbers to contact someone with our internet, then the music would work mostly okay for a while, so I wouldn’t make the call, or I wouldn’t make the time to be on hold for the estimated 40 minutes. So, we just put up with it. Our internet radio was limping along basically.

Finally, my office staff and myself had had enough. I called a friend that owns an Audio/Visual Company and is super tech savvy. In other words, one of the best experts in town.

In a three-minute phone conversation he had our problem solved. The next week we had a new system installed. Did it cost a little $$$? Yes, but it was entirely worth it.

Once the problem was identified and the solution offered, it was like a HUGE weight was lifted. A HUGE WEIGHT. Again, it was something small, something trivial, but it was an off/on annoyance for over a YEAR!!

NAGGING

The moral of this story is that if you’ve got something small nagging you…and it’s been nagging you for quite some time, hire an expert to help problem solve it. There’s a solution to it, I promise. Sometimes it requires a different set of eyes…a set of eyes that’s maybe been where you’ve been that can help shed some light on your frustration/confusion/fear of change.

Let it go. Let the weight drift up off your shoulders. You’ll appreciate the help and it will totally be worth the $$$ you might have to invest in your well-being. Promise.

AND if you’ve got a BIG PROBLEM. ALL THE MORE REASON TO MAKE THE MOVE TODAY!! You don’t need to carry the weight any longer. Hire an expert. Move forward. Let go and grow.
