Who do you want to be when you grow up?
If you’ve already felt this dream has passed you by, then read up and soak it in my friend. Your prime days of life can still be ahead of you if you can embrace the belief that regardless of who I am, I can change.
We all have an innate desire to learn and grow. We don’t feel good about ourselves if we block or limit this desire. You know you are blocking this desire to learn and grow if you spend a lot of your time “checking out” with unfulfilling activities. How much time do you spend watching TV, surfing the web, engrossed into social media and feeling like crap afterwards?
If you’ve given up on the dream of “Who do I want to be?” then allow me to smack you upside the head with these words…

You didn’t come here to be a stagnant blob of life. You came here to be a mover and a shaker.
I recently had a meeting with a retired doctor. He said he could be playing golf every day if he wanted to, but how miserable he would be. Instead he’s inventing health care devices, one that’s super successful, another that’s in the process and development stage. He’s in his late 60’s and he is fired up about life! He revealed that he had NO IDEA that he would be on this path in life, it wasn’t in his “plan.” He wanted to help other people though, and he didn’t leave it as a dream in the dust. He put action behind inspired ideas.
Now, I’m not saying you should commit to a mission to save the world, all I’m saying is that it’s HIGH TIME to STIR UP what’s inside of you. YOU KNOW it’s there. STOP MAKING EXCUSES and start doing what you’d like to do. I promise you that if you do, the excuses you are limiting yourself with will all be revealed as false evidence appearing real (FEAR). You will be more supportive in your relationships, you will be more fun to be around, you will be more productive and fulfilled. YOU’VE GOT TO ENGAGE THAT DREAM INSIDE OF YOU AND! NO! IT’S NOT TOO LATE.

Here’s a little exercise to start you on your path to revealing your dream inside.
- Draw a picture of yourself (your body) just an outline and make it look sexy good.
- Fill the drawing with words of “Who do I want to be.” For example: “intelligent, kind, happy, loving, etc.…”
- Fill it also with pictures of things that inspire you. (Quotes/ mountain landscapes, ocean sunsets, hobbies you want to do/enjoy)
- Stick it to your wall near your bed with some tape.
- Look at it every morning when you wake and every night before you go to bed.
- Watch your dream start to come true. Live it and be it.
BAM – you can do it.
